Mary Frances Trice

Mary Frances Trice, 68, of Shaw, MS, passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2019, in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 21, 2019, at Ray Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will follow beginning at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 21, 2019, at Ray Funeral Home with Brother Howard Haar officiating. Interment will be in Delta Heights Memorial Garden Cemetery.
Mary was born on December 23, 1950, to Joseph and Mattie Ingram in Sunflower, MS. On April 7, 1989, she married James Paul Trice in Linn, MS. Mary worked as the executive assistant to the superintendent for Parchman for over 25 years before retiring. She liked to spend her spare time gardening and playing games on the IPad. Mary was an amazing artist; she was talented in painting, quilting, arts and crafts in general.  
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mattie Ingram; and son, David Lee Douglas.
Mary is survived by her husband of 30 years, James Paul Trice of Linn; children, Michael Anthony Douglas (Jennifer) of Ganado, TX and Jason Alex Douglas of Hattiesburg; step-children, Jeremy Paul Trice (Patricia) of Linn and James Brian Trice (Leah) of Maumelle, AR; grandchildren, Michael Allen Douglas, Jordan Nicole Tate, Samantha Lynn Douglas, Matthew Paul Trice, and Sophia Rose Trice; and siblings, Joseph Ingram (Paula) of Gulfport, Glenda Sue Pallan (Ed) of Cleveland, June Ann Hobson (Jerry) of Gulfport, and Jerry Ingram (Sue) of New Albany.
Pallbearers will be Justin Hobson, Bryan Hobson, Michael Douglas, and Matt Trice.
