Mary Dianne Headley, 78, went to be with the Lord on July 13, 2025. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at Ray Funeral Home in Cleveland, Mississippi. Celebration of Life Service will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m.
Dianne was born on January 14, 1947, in Kosciusko, Mississippi, to John and Mary Alice Ray. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Mary dedicated over 25 years to her passion as the owner of Hair Tenders in Greenville, where she nurtured lasting relationships with clients and community. Dianne married Nolan Headley July 5, 1997, in Greenville, MS.
Dianne pursued her education at Riverside High School and later graduated from Delta Beauty College, equipping her with the skills that led to her successful career in the beauty industry. She was well-respected for her dedication to her craft and the personalized service she provided to her clients, many of whom became treasured friends.
Dianne’s devotion extended beyond her profession. She was a lifelong member of the New Life Church of God, actively involved in Joy Ministries, where she shared her warmth and compassion with others. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, and she inspired many with her kindness and unwavering support.
Known for her culinary talents, Dianne was a wonderful cook who took great joy in preparing meals for her family. She cherished the time she spent with her family and friends, creating a lifetime of memories filled with love and laughter. Her grandson, Josh Sanderson of Greenville, Mississippi, was particularly close to her; he was truly the light of her life.
Dianne is predeceased by her parents, John Alen and Mary Alice Ray; daughter, Wendy Webb; and son, Jimbo Jones.
Dianne leaves behind her loving husband, Nolan Headley of Greenville, Mississippi, along with her stepdaughters, Lisa Williams of Charleston, South Carolina, and Janelle Headley of St. Paul, Minnesota, and stepson, Blake Headley of Madison, Mississippi. She also is survived by her step-grandchildren, Jordan Methvin, Walker Headley, and Sarah Headley, who brought additional joy to her life. Her brothers, Ted Ray, Tom Ray, and David Ray, along with sisters Peggy Whittington, Toni Paxton, and Vermon Hawes, remain to honor her memory, carrying forth the traditions and love Dianne fostered within their family.
