Mary Jane Chandler, of Tutwiler, MS passed away at Walter B Cook in Ruleville, MS on June 25th, 2021.
Visitation will be held Sunday, June 27th, 2021, from 3-5 PM at Ray Funeral Home in Cleveland, MS. Graveside service will be held on Monday June 28th at 10:00 a.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery in Sumner, MS. Mary Jane was born on November 9, 1926, in Lyon, MS to the late Sam Truman Flemmons and Desi Leola Flemmons. She was a member of Rome Baptist Church. She also loved to feed and cook for her family, loved to spend time with her grandkids and was always available for them, she loved to read her bible, and she loved to listen to Gospel music. Mary is survived by sons Tommy (Sheila) Chandler of Benoit, MS, Dudley (Rachelle) Chandler of Kosciusko, MS, Mackie (Sheba) Chandler of Tutwiler, MS, and George Chandler of Tutwiler. She also leaves behind her Grandchildren Emily Kathryn Simmons (Eddie), Forrest Chandler (Arie), Kyle Chandler, Kayla Fleming (Josh), Kody Chandler (Mallory), Wesley Chandler (Alicia), Josh Chandler (Toni), Andrew Chandler, Georgia- Kate Chandler (Dylan); great grandchildren, Bailee Johnson, Ty Chandler, Addilynn Emerson, Ellie Chandler, Kade Fleming, Brant Chandler, Anna-Kaylan Fleming, Walker Chandler, Rhett Chandler, Brooks Emerson, and Wade Emerson. She is also survived by her brothers Arvin Flemmons, Marvin Flemmons, and Don Flemmons. James Arthur (Bud) Flemmons. She is proceeded in death by her parents, her husband Thomas Upton (Butch) Chandler, Grandson Kade Chandler and Great Grandson Clay Chandler, also brothers and sisters Vivian Brooks, Edmond Flemmons, Johnny Flemmons, and Doris Ann Powell.
Pallbearers are Wesley Chandler, Forrest Chandler, Kyle Chandler, Kody Chandler, Josh Chandler, Andrew Chandler, Josh Fleming, and Eddie Simmons. And Special thanks to the staff of Walter B. Crook Nursing Home of Ruleville, MS.
