Nancy Bobo, 75, passed away on December 6, 2022 in Jackson, MS.

Nancy was born on October 30, 1947 in Fitchburg, MA to Robert Proctor and Margaret Proctor. She met her husband, Andrew "Todd" Bobo, on a blind date while he was in the army. They were later married on November 4, 1969 in Basel, Switzerland. They loved dancing to the oldies, shopping the antique markets, puttering around the lake on the pontoon boat, lounging on the porch birdwatching, and doting on their children and grandchildren.

After making a home in Cleveland, MS, Nancy attended Delta State University and earned a Masters of Education. She began her career teaching in the Delta State Child Care Center and later directed the child care center as well as taught Child Development classes. After leaving Delta State, she taught 3 year-old pre-k for Bayou Academy and later Presbyterian Day School from which she retired. Nancy was well-loved by her "kids" and was known for her fun and creative lesson plans that inspired the children. Many classroom days included music and song, as well as costumes such as Mother Goose, Clown, Fancy Nancy, Cat in the Hat, and others.

Nancy is preceded in death by her husband, Todd Bobo; her parents, Robert Proctor and Margaret Procter; and her sister, Margaret "Peggy" Brickey.
