Ollie Sue Willingham, 87, of Ruleville, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2015, at Walter B. Crook Nursing Facility. Visitation will be 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Friday, September, 25, 2015, at Cleveland Church of Christ. Celebration of Life services will immediately follow beginning at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 25, 2015, at Cleveland Church of Christ with Brother Tim McCarter and Brother John Dobbs officiating. Interment will be in Lehrton Cemetery. Mrs. Willingham was born September 30, 1927, to Issac Henry Chandler and Jewel Elizabeth Sweatt Chandler. On December 1, 1945, she married James William "Dick" Willingham in Ruleville, MS. Mrs. Willingham was part owner of Sonic in McComb, an Avon sales representative, and worked as a secretary for Walton and Pentecost Insurance, Ruleville Chamber of Commerce, and Cleveland Church of Christ where she was also a member. She enjoyed quilting, handwork, sewing, painting, and cooking. She is preceded in death by her parents, Issac and Jewel Chandler; husband, James William "Dick" Willingham; grandson, John Robert Dobbs; brother, Earl Chandler; and two sisters, Irene Pratt and Marie Threet.
Mrs. Willingham is survived by daughters, Kathy Givens (Galen) of Cleveland, Carol Moore (Johnny) of Cleveland, and Margaret Dobbs (John) of Monroe, LA; son, James W. Willingham, Jr. (Janette) of McComb; grandchildren, Chad Givens (Tish), Harvey Green (Missy), Raychel Lunceford (Jason), and Nicole Holland; nine great-grandchildren, Austin, Luke, and Beau Green, Mason, Seth and Chandler Givens, Claire Willingham, Blake Holland, and Conner Lunceford; brother, Ray Chandler (Imogene) of Alexander, LA; and sisters, Evelyn Ray of Ruleville, Kathryn Starnes of Ocean Springs, Maudine Andrews of Ruleville, and JoAnn Story of Ruleville. Pallbearers will be Chad Givens, Harvey Green, Jason Lunceford, Richie Stillions, Dan Andrews, and Bert Oakes. Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Chandler, Johnny Moore, Jr., Galen Givens, Bret Willingham, Billy Willingham, and Frankie Peyton. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cleveland Church of Christ and/or a charity of your choice.
