Patricia McKee

Patricia McKee, passed away on September 19, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and commitment that will resonate in the hearts of those who knew her. Patricia was a lifelong resident of her cherished community where she tirelessly devoted herself to her career and family.

A visitation in her honor will be held at Ray Funeral Home in Cleveland, MS, on September 23, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a memorial service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A graveside service will take place at New Cleveland Cemetery at 12:00 PM.

Patricia was born on May 3, 1955, in Cleveland, Mississippi to A.B. and Nina Margret Price. She graduated from Cleveland High School and furthered her education at Delta State University. Patricia's professional journey began as a loan officer, where her years of dedication stood as a testament to her hard work and integrity. However, her greatest joy came from nurturing children in her home daycare, where she created a loving environment that would shape the lives of many.

Known for her warm spirit, Patricia was the epitome of a caring family member. She would often say, “When you give you get back 10 times,” and she lived out this philosophy every day. Her ability to bring people together was unmatched; she organized events that created lasting memories and was often the first point of support for her family. Patricia was adored for her remarkably thoughtful nature, always remembering to send her specialty birthday cards to each family member, a small but significant gesture that showcased her boundless love.

A nurturing heart extended beyond her family to her pets, as she found joy not only in reading and keeping abreast of current events but also in the simple pleasures of life. Friends and family will remember Patricia as a loving and giving presence, whose laughter and kindness lit up any space she occupied.

Patricia was proceeded in death by her loving parents, Albert Bruce Price and Nina Margaret Reynolds Price.

Patricia leaves behind her loving husband, Mark McKee, and her cherished children, Jennifer Herren and Mark McKee Jr. She was a proud grandmother to McKarlee Herren, Amelia McKee, and Wilder McKee, who brought her immeasurable joy. Patricia is also survived by her beloved siblings: Jennifer Blaylock, Tammy Burchfield, Bruce Price, David Price, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and many other treasured family members.

Patricia McKee will be deeply missed but forever cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing her. Her loving nature, supportive spirit, and unforgettable presence will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
