Paul Avaltroni

Paul William Avaltroni, 81, of Shelby, Mississippi, passed away on Saturday, July 2nd, 2022 in Cleveland, Mississippi.  A graveside service will be held at 3pm on Friday, July 8th at the Shelby cemetery.  

Born in Shelby, Mississippi on January 4th, 1941, he was the son of T.J. and Ida Avaltroni.  Paul graduated from Shelby High School in 1959.  He earned his bachelor's degree in public accounting from the University of Mississippi in 1963 and spent most of his working career with E.I. DuPont de Nemours in Wilmington, Delaware.  His hobbies included sketching and painting, giving many of his art works to his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ida and T.J. Avaltroni, his sisters, Eileen Rocconi and Josephine Cannon, and his brother John Avaltroni.  He is survived by his sisters Mary Ann Cintgran and Janie Hayes and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Avaltroni's family extends a special thank you to Azalea Commons for the care provided to their loved one.

In lieu of flowers or a memorial gift, Paul asked for donations to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
