Boyle - Peggy Lester Perrett, 75, of Boyle, passed away Wednesday, October 30th, at her home after a 4 month battle with cancer.
Born in Brookhaven Mississippi, on March 10, 1944 to Geneva Lester Smith and L.C. Lester.  She was raised in Pearl, Mississippi.  She attended Pearl High School and graduated in 1962. During her high school years she was a member of both the cheerleading squad and the basketball team.
Peggy began her thirty-four year career with Jimmy Sanders, Inc. in 1980 and retired in 2014. She handled numerous duties for the Cleveland office of Jimmy Sanders, Inc. Her co-workers became beloved work family. She was hired by the late founder Mr. Jimmy Sanders and was part of the company as it grew from a Mississippi based company, to a multi-state agriculture corporation.
Peggy was an active member of First Baptist Church in Cleveland. She served on the floral team to help with flowers to decorate the church. She was a member of the Living Faith Sunday school class. The friendships she made with the members of the Sunday school class and the Church were held close to her heart.  
Peggy was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, and friend whose greatest passion was time spent with her family and friends.  She thoroughly enjoyed being Gran to her grandsons and granddaughter.  
Peggy had a strong relationship with the Lord and was comforted by this throughout her illness.   
She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, John Perrett of Boyle; son Michael Perrett (Pam) of Senatobia,  daughter Kristie Perrett Sbravati of Cleveland, son Danny Perrett (Elizabeth) of Madison; her two grandsons, Nathan Perrett (Darby) of Cleveland, Josh Perrett of Senatobia and granddaughter Reed Perrett of Madison; and brother Gerald Lester (Theresa) of Petal.  She was preceded in death by her parents Geneva Smith and L.C. Lester, stepfather Cecil Smith, sister Sue Odom, and son-in-law David Sbravati.
Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church Cleveland on Friday, November 1st, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. with the funeral service to follow at 11:30 a.m.   Interment will follow at North Cleveland Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or a charity of your choice.
