Peggy Sue Ray Reed

Peggy Sue Ray Reed, 63, of Louisville, MS, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2019, at Winston Medical Center in Louisville. Visitation will be 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 1, 2019, at Ray Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Service will be 12:00 p.m. Friday, August 2, 2019, Ray Funeral Home with Joe Young officiating. Interment will be in Linn Baptist Cemetery.
Peggy was born on October 25, 1956, to Charles and Edith Huskey in Louisiana. On June 4, 1992, she married James Reed in Ruleville, MS. Peggy loved her Lord and Savior, she was very involved in her church and the church activities. 
She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Ray; late husband, Bob Whitten; brother, David Lee Ray and Willie Earl Ray; and sister, Mary Ann Light Hogue.
Peggy is survived by her husband, James Reed of Louisville; mother, Edith Downs of Merigold; brothers, Charles Ray of Merigold, Roy Downs Jr. of Monahan, TX, Randy Downs of Monahans, TX, Bobby Joe Downs of Slaughter, MS, and Billy Downs of Monahans, TX; and sisters, Peggy Light (Dennis) of Warren, AR, Judy Ann Russell (Bobby) of Monahans, TX, and Betty Ray of Cleveland, MS
Pallbearers will be RJ Clark, Cameron Clark, Sam Storey, David Lee Ray Jr., Mason Moore, Allen Hood, Jeff Hadley, and Adam Ray. Honorary pallbearers will be BJ Irby and Billy Downs.
