It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Robert Lee Brown Sr. 61 of Hollandale, MS was called home to be with the Lord while surrounded by family on September 3, 2025.
A visitation honoring Robert will be held, Sunday, September 7, 2025 from 2-3pm at Ray Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 3:00P.M. at Ray Funeral Home in Cleveland, MS.
Robert Brown, born on May 7, 1964, in Cleveland, MS, passed away on September 3, 2025, in Hollandale, MS, surrounded by his beloved family. He lived a full and vibrant life, leaving behind a profound legacy that spans generations.
As we gather to honor Robert's life, we invite family and friends to join us in celebrating his incredible journey. A visitation will be held on September 7, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Ray Funeral Home, located at 206 Bishop Rd, Cleveland, MS 38732.
For 14 years, Robert dedicated himself to USAXminster, and for the subsequent 21 years, he was a valued employee at Milwaukee Tool. His commitment to hard work was a true testament to his character, but it was in the moments spent with family where he truly shone. Robert was married to the love of his life, Jamie Brown, for an incredible 30 years. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Most of all Robert was a devoted husband, father, brother and friend. His greatest accomplishments were measured not by his professional life but by the love he instilled in his family. His four children and nine grandchildren were the apples of his eye, and each one was adored and celebrated in Robert's life. He was known as the life of the party, always surrounded by friends and family, sharing stories, laughter, and kindness. There was never a dull moment with Robert; his infectious spirit and ability to lift others up made every gathering a special occasion. Whether he was cooking his world-famous steaks on the grill or pressure cooking. His warmth radiated, making those around him feel valued and appreciated. Robert fished and golfed—favorite pastimes that he often enjoyed with his children, creating lifelong memories on those tranquil waters. He was also an avid sports fan, You could find Robert on any given Saturday or Sunday you could find Robert proudly rooting for the Dallas Cowboys and Ole Miss Football. The activities he shared with his family brought him immense joy, reflecting a well-lived life, rich in love and connection.
He was the cherished son of the late Hugh "Butch" Lee Brown and Opall Nell Roberson.
Robert will be sorely missed by his surviving family members: his loving wife of 30 years Jamie Marie Carroll Brown, his four children, Lee Brown Jr. (Tara) of Lavonia, GA, Mandy Brown Wolfe (Dusty ) of Mountain Home, AR, Kara Brown of Hollandale, MS, and Chance Brown (Chloe) of Searcy, AR father-in-law Jimmy “Jimbo” (Jan) Carroll of Hollandale, MS; mother-in-law Mary Jo Thomas (Bill) of Crestview, FL; sisters Tammy Schucchi of Lake Village, AR, Kim (John) Edney of Crestview, FL, and Laurie Lunn of Greenville, MS; and sister Michelle Schucci Morgan. Along with a long host of loving cousins, and friends who always thought of him as family.
Robert Brown's legacy will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him—a testament to the unconditional love he gave and received throughout his life. He leaves behind not just memories, but a deep impact on those who loved him dearly.
