Sammy Norris Jr.

Samuel Lamar "Sammy" Norris Jr went to be with the Lord on April 15, 2021 in Greenville, MS. Visitation will be on Monday, April 19, 2021 from 1-2 p.m. at Ray Funeral home with a Celebration of Life Immediately following at 2 p.m. Interment will be held at Shelby Cemetery.
Sammy was born on November 9, 1942 in Grenada, MS to Samuel Lamar Norris Sr. and Josephine Boschert Norris. He grew up in Duncan, MS and he attended and graduated from Shelby High School. He then went on to Clark Ministry School. He was an avid sports lover, and was a huge fan of Delta State and Mississippi State. He could tell you every score of any sport. He is preceded in death by his parents Samuel Norris Sr and Josephine Norris; and one brother, Joseph Henry Norris.
He is survived by his brother, William Norris; nieces, Joann (James) Terry of Cleveland, MS and Jamie Miracle Norris of Boyle, MS; and nephew, James Johnathan (Trina) Kimble of Columbus, MS.
