Shirley C Sizemore

Shirley Conico Sizemore, 80, of Cleveland, MS. went on to be with the Lord on August 20, 2020. Services will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church. Interment will take place at the New Cleveland Cemetery. Shirley was born on April 9, 1940 in Shaw, MS to Merico Conico and Albina Ferretti Conico. She was married to Steve Lee "Buster" Sizemore, Sr. on April 21, 1963 in Shaw, MS. Mrs. Sizemore worked for Cleveland School District for many years as a cafeteria manager. Although she was a member of Our Lady of Victories, she often helped all area Catholic churches. She was a very involved & supportive wife, mother, and grandmother. She was very devoted to her family and loved caring for them dearly. Mrs. Shirley loved feeding people and loved watching her grandchildren in all their involvements. She was one of the original members of the Cleveland High School Booster club. She remained an active member and supporter for many years. Also, many loved to refer to her as the "Cinnamon Roll Lady." Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, Merico & Albina Ferretti Conico; spouse, Steve Lee "Buster" Sizemore; sister, Mary Elizabeth Conico; and brother, Johnny Conico. She is survived by her children, Steve Sizemore, Jr. (Stacie) & Charles "Shine" Sizemore (Susan); grandchildren, Kendall Sizemore Melton(Sid), Alex Sizemore, Gunner Sizemore, Cassidy Sizemore, and Rylee Sizemore; siblings, Jo Ann Grossi(John), Barbara Jean Weaver, and Timmy Conico; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Pallbearers for this service will be Sidney Melton, James Enriquez, Joe Ferguson, Travis Mikel, Floyd Arbuckle Jr., and Nolan Knight.
