Walter Stanley "Stan" Wood, 62, of Greenville, MS, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2019, at his home.
Stan was born on September 11, 1956, in Clarksdale, MS. On February 15, 1991, he married Laurene Ronfeldt in Arkansas. He was married to Laurene for 28 glorious years. Stan was self employed and worked as a distributor for Murray and Jacks Cookies for over 30 years. In his spare time he loved playing golf with his buddies, watching football, and spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter Alvin Wood and Dorothy Dean Wood.
Stan is survived by his beloved wife, Laurene Ronfeldt Wood; children, Ashley Moody, Alicia Lloyd, Walter Tyson Wood (Kelsie), James Pitts (Jessie), and Megan Martin (Steven); twelve grandchildren; and siblings, Marilyn Manning, Tommy Wood, and Kenny Wood (Teresa).
