Steve Brooks

Steven Alvis Brooks, 53, of Cleveland, MS went to be with the Lord Friday, August 19, 2022.  Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 21, 2022, at Ray Funeral Home in Cleveland, MS.  Celebration of Life will immediately follow at 3:00 p.m.  Interment will be at Shelby Cemetery. 

Steve was born June 11, 1969, to Alvis and Sandra Brooks in Shelby, MS.  He worked as a diesel mechanic in the agriculture industry for many years and enjoyed every minute of it. He had a very big heart, especially for animals. His favorite things were his daughters, rock and roll music, and nascar racing.

He is predeceased by his father, Alvis Brooks; step-father, Don Coleman; and step-mother, Sandra Upton Brooks.

Steve is survived by his mother, Sandra Coleman; the mother of his children, Diana Walters (Eugene); children, Bethany Toole (Terry), Baylee Brooks (Cesar), Breelyn Baade (Buddy), and River Regan; grandchildren, Ellacen Brooks and a grandbaby on the way; siblings, Phyllis Brooks (Gary), Michelle Gabucci (Chris) Brandon Brooks (Kristen), and Shannon Brooks; niece, Jessica Harris (Jonathan), nephew, Ethan Holland; great niece & nephew, Kiley and John Thomas Harris; and special friend, Devan Regan.
