Thelma Beach Morrison

Mrs. Thelma Beach Morrison, 85, of Cleveland, MS, passed away on September 11, 2017 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Ridgeland, MS. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at Ray Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Services will immediately follow beginning at 11:00 a.m.  on Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at Ray Funeral Home with Brother Jimmy Breland officiating. Interment will be in New Cleveland Cemetery.
Thelma was born on July 9, 1932 to Woodard Wilson Beach and Millie Emaline Beach in Ackerman, MS. On June 12, 1949, she married Isadore Morrison in Cleveland, MS. She was a Cub Scout den mother for years which she truly enjoyed. Thelma loved spending time with her husband whether it was helping with their honey bees or managing the roller rink. She was a talented seamstress and loved to make shirts for her sons and friends. She liked to attend craft shows when she was able to.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Isadore Morrison; parents, Woodard Wilson Beach and Millie Emaline Brooks; sister, Virginia Britt; and brother, Harold Beach.
Mrs. Morrison is survived by her sons, Mike Morrison (Kathy) and Steve Morrison both of Jackson, MS; brother, W.D. Beach; and a host of nieces and nephews.
