Mrs. Thelma Eddins Bradford, 96, of Cleveland, MS, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2011. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at Ray Funeral Home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.. Celebration of life service will be Thursday, July 7, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at Ray Funeral Home. Burial will follow celebration service in North Cleveland Cemetery.
Mrs. Bradford was born September 3, 1914 to Bennie Moren Eddins and Margueritte Oline Doddridge. She married Raymond Hutchinson Bradford July 21, 1940 in Wynn, AR. Mrs. Bradford was a charter member of the Immanuel Baptist Church in Cleveland and was extremely active in her church. Mrs. Bradford worked for thirty five years at Dr. Davidson's Eye Clinic. She was such a devoted mother and loved her family dearly.
Mrs. Bradford is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymond Hutchinson Bradford; sisters, Norma Eddins Winters of Wynn, AR and Eva Earl Eddins of Wynn, AR.
She is survived by her daughters, Margueritte Ann "Rita" Aldridge of Myrtle, MS and Linda Eddins McIntosh of Flowood, MS; grandchildren, Steven Aldridge, Raymond "Ray" Aldridge, and Stefanie Carlton "Carley" McIntosh; and two great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Mississippi Baptist Children's Village.
