Tracie Lynn Holmes

Tracie Lynn Holmes, beloved daughter, mom, and nurse went to be with the Lord, November 16, 2023.  Visitation will be 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 25, 2023, at Ray Funeral Home in Cleveland, MS.  A Memorial Service will immediately follow at 1:00 p.m.

She was born on September 28, 1970, to Homer and Charlotte Gilbert.  Tracie dedicated her life to caring for others as a nurse. It was her true calling, and she found great satisfaction in using her skills to provide comfort and healing to her patients. Throughout her career, Tracie touched the lives of countless individuals with her unwavering compassion and dedication.

She grew up alongside her sister, Karen Gilbert and brothers, Bubba, Pewee, and Macke Gilbert. Tracie had a close bond with her family and cherished the time they spent together.

Tracie had a special place in her heart for her great nieces and nephews who she adored dearly. They brought immense joy into her life. Tracie found solace in riding motorcycles, which allowed her to feel free and appreciate the beauty of the world around her. However, nothing compared to the love that she had for spending time with her family.

In addition to being a devoted nurse, Tracie was a loving mother to her sons Bradley and Tyler Holmes. They were the lights of her life and brought immeasurable happiness into every day she spent with them.

She is predeceased by her father, Homer Gilbert; brothers, Bubba, Pewee, and Macke Gilbert; niece, April Jones; nephew, Blake Grisham.

Tragically, Tracie Lynn Holmes leaves behind a grieving family and friends who will forever cherish the memories they shared with her. Her passing is an immense loss not only for them but also for all those who were fortunate enough to have crossed paths with such an extraordinary individual.

May we find solace in knowing that Tracie's spirit will continue to live on through the memories we hold dear. Let us celebrate the wonderful life she lived, filled with compassionate care, love for family, and selflessness towards others.
