Ward Joseph Joe Simpson, Jr.

Mr. Ward Joseph "Joe" Simpson, Jr., 64, of Cleveland, passed away Monday, March 19, 2018, at Bolivar Medical Center.  To celebrate the life of Joe, a casual gathering of friends and family will be 6:00 p.m. Saturday, March 24, 2018, at 600 Conrad Place in Cleveland, MS.
Joe was born on November 26, 1953, to Ward Joseph Simpson, Sr. and Oma Woods Simpson.  He worked for many years as a U.S. Probation Office for the U.S. Federal Court. He was a simple man who enjoyed collecting older cars, and he was known to many as "The Dude".
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ward Joseph Simpson, Sr. and Oma Woods Simpson.
Joe is survived by his two sons, Thad Simpson (Annie Laurie) and Todd Simpson; companion, Valrie Blackwood; grandchildren, Mary Douglas Simpson, Noah Simpson, Lillie Simpson, and Jude Simpson; and sister, Lynette.
