Alexander Soto Gonzales, 74, of Cleveland, MS passed away in Oxford, MS, Tuesday, January 18, 2011.
Funeral services will be Saturday, January 22, 2011 at Ray Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 22, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Ray Funeral Home. Burial will follow the funeral in North Cleveland Cemetery.
Mr. Gonzales was born July 2, 1936 in Bakersfield, CA to Marcus Gonzales and Carmen Gonzales. He married Virginia Scott in Memphis, TN.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Gonzales of Cleveland, MS; son, Dr. Michael Gonzales (Melody) of Pulaski, TN; daughter, Vickie Gonzales Watts (Charles) of Duncan, MS; daughter, Janet Gonzales Dixon (Jim) of Oxford, MS; grandchildren, Ryan Fulgham of Cleveland, MS, Ashley Laurenzo (Jeff) of Belen, MS, Tegan Gonzales and Scott Gonzales of Pulaski, TN, Tory Dixon and Coleman Dixon of Oxford, MS, Kourtney Ayles (Colby) and Lanie Watts.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Sunny Seniors, 107 South Victoria Avenue, Cleveland, MS 38732.
