Anita "Joy" Davidson, of Cleveland, MS passed away at UMC in Jackson Monday, December 13, 2010. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, December 16, 2010 at Ray Funeral Home with Steve Holtz officiating. Visitation will be from 6pm-8pm Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at Ray Funeral Home.
Mrs. Davidson was born to Jack K. Ward and Billie Jean Clinton May 10, 1957 in Clarksdale, MS. She married Ben Townes Davidson November 26, 1994 in Reelfoot, TN. She loved to sing and dance and loved being a "memow".
She is survived by her husband, Ben Davidson of Cleveland; the Father of her children, Jerry Phelps; son, Jack Phelps, Nathan Phelps, and Daniel Phelps all of Cleveland, MS; daughters Menee Harthcock and her husband Jim Harthcock of Drew,MS; and Linsey Phelps of Cleveland, MS; grandchildren, Addison Moore, Ashton Ballard, Cole Harthcock, Sara Dixon Harthcock, Chloe Phelps, Savannah Phelps; sisters, Brenda Hippenstil of Mobile, AL, and Barbara Griffin of Boyle, MS.
