Betty Watson

Mrs. Betty Gordon Watson, 81, of Drew, MS, passed away August 8, 2010 at Indywood Estates. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at Church Advent in Sumner, MS under the direction of Ray Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Wetheringtong officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 10, 2010 from 6:00- 8:30 p.m. at Ray Funeral Home. Burial will follow the funeral service in Drew Cemetery.
Betty Gordon Watson was born December 10, 1928 to James Fred Gordon, Sr. and Emily Blanche Smith in Clinton, MS. She married Webster Manning Watson November 17, 1951 in Clinton, MS.
Mrs. Watson is preceded in death by her husband, Webster Manning Watson of Drew; parents, James Fred Gordon, Sr. and Emily Blanche Smith of Clinton; nephew, Kahled Fokeladeh of Jackson; niece, Margaret Jane Pharr of Clinton.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Watson Waldrup of Drew; son- in- law, Bill Waldrup, Jr. of Drew; brother, Dr. James F. Gordon, Jr. of Clinton; sister, Emily Gordon Fokeladeh of Clinton; nephews, Hamed Fokeladeh (Jackie) of Brandon, Samir Fokeladeh of Clinton, Dr. Richard Pharr of Pisgah; and niece, Patsy Pharr Marsh ( David) of Jackson.
