Beverly Mixon

Beverly Jean Mixon, 57, of Skene, MS, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2012 at her home. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at St. Francis of Assisi in Shaw. Mass of Christian burial will immediately follow the visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2012 with Father Tom DeLaney officiating.
Mrs. Mixon was born October 8, 1954 to James Louis Muzzi and Gloria Nell Miller Muzzi. She married Don Faris Mixon on December 29, 1973 in Shaw, MS. Mrs. Beverly worked at Nancy's Hallmark as a manager for many years. She loved decorating her home, shopping, cooking, going to Disney World and playing with her grandchildren. She was a dedicated and loving member of her church.
Mrs. Mixon is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Cheryl Ann Adams.
She is survived by her husband, Don Farris Mixon of Boyle; sons, Brandon Mixon (Amanda) of Denver, Co and Adam Mixon (Ashley) of Gulfport, MS; daughter, Lindsey Massey (Brad) of Starkville, MS; and grandchildren, Carenna Mixon, Daniel Mixon, Cole Mixon, and Anna Lauren Mixon.
Pallbearers will be Sonny Davis, Derek Muzzi, Seth Muzzi, David Callow, Phillip Rizzo, and Dennis Short. Honorary Pallbearers will be Victor Biaoni and Danny Muzzi.
In Lieu of Flowers, memorials can be made to WINGS, 100N Humphreys Blvd. Memphis, TN 38120, or St. Francis of Assisi in Shaw.
