Cleveland Webb Obituary
Cleveland "Nick" Webb Jr., 71, of Shaw, MS, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2012 at his home. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, April 16, 2012, at Ray Funeral Home. Celebration of Life will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 17, 2012, at Ray Funeral Home. Interment will immediately follow at Shaw Cemetery.
Mr. Webb was born August 24, 1940, to Cleveland Webb and Pauline Mildred Grimes Webb. He married Francis Hinton Finley. Mr. Nick worked as a sheet metal worker for many years. He will be remembered for his wood work, loved being outside and spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Cleveland and Pauline Webb; brother, Jerry Webb and wife, Francis Finley Webb.
He is survived by his daughters, Lynn Cole (Lyn) of Boyle, MS and Lisa Carpenter (Robert) of Tennessee; brothers, John Webb (Joyce) of Clarksdale, MS; Jimmy Webb (Nancy) of Cleveland, MS; Douglas "Cookie" Webb (Ada) of Boyle, MS and Billy Webb (Heather) of Arkansas; sisters Opaline Gordon of Cleveland, MS and Linda Farley of Indiana; and grandchildren, Hayden and Leslie Cole of Boyle, Ms; Brandi Carpenter, Keri Carpenter, Robin Carpenter and April (Matt) Henson all of Tennessee; great grandchildren, Caleb Riley, Mariah Carpenter and Sean Henson; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Lyn Cole, Robert Carpenter, Cookie Webb, Jimmy Webb, Wendy Webb and Larry Milam. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Webb, John Webb, John Mark Stovall and Bradley Fondren.
In Lieu of Flowers, memorials can be made to American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
