Clyde Davis

Clyde Wayne Davis, 84, of Boyle, MS passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at his home. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 15, 2013, at Ray Funeral Home with services immediately following at 2:00pm. Rev. Clarence Edwards will officiate. Interment will be at North Cleveland Cemetery.
Mr. Davis was born June 17, 1928 to Clyde Houston Davis and Freeda Delphia Rice Davis in Abbott, AR. He married Ruth "Virginia" Mullins Davis on June 4, 1955 in Newkirk, OK. He was a US Navy Veteran and a member of the American Legion. He lived in Boyle, MS from 1959 till the time he passed. He was retired from Mid South Water with 48 years of service.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Houston Davis and Freeda Delphia Rice Davis and wife, Ruth "Virginia" Mullins Davis; son, Kenneth L. McClaflin; daughter, Brenda Jo McClaflin; brother, Lucian Davis; sister, Doris Davis.
Mr. Davis is survived by his Grand children, Kenna McClaflin White (Phillip) of El Dorado, AR, Bryson S. McClaflin of Hernando, MS; great grand children, Tyler B. White of El Dorado, AR, Joshua A. White of El Dorado, AR; daughter-in-law, Blanche McClaflin of Boyle, MS; brother, Joe Davis of Wichita, KS; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
