Ms. Dorothy Darlene Smith, 47, of Benoit, MS, passed away at Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville, MS, Saturday, April 16, 2011. Visitation will be held 7:00- 9:00 p.m. Monday, April 18, 2011 at Ray Funeral Home in Cleveland. Celebration of life services will be Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Ray Funeral Home with Bro. John Read officiating. Burial will follow celebration of life service in Beulah Cemetery.
Ms. Smith was born September 21, 1963 to Roy Smith, Sr. and Dorothy Brewer Smith in Benoit, MS.
She is preceded in death by her father, Roy Smith, Sr.; mother, Dorothy Smith of Benoit; and sister, Linda Johnson of Cleveland.
Ms. Smith is survived by the love of her life, Hubbard Stephens; three brothers, Billy Smith (Linda) of Cleveland, MS, Bobby Smith of Benoit, and Roy Smith, Jr. (Patricia) of St. Louis, MO; four sisters, Carol Dees (Dub), Hazel Smith of Benoit, Kathy Easterling (Danny) of Greenville, MS, and Nan Williamson (Bobby) of Benoit; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be William Dees, Mike Dees, Kenny Dees, Brian Williamson, Justin Smith, Greg Easterling, David Johnson, and Timmy Johnson.
