Dennis Johnson

Albert Dennis Johnson, 85, passed away on May 17, 2010 at the Med in Memphis, TN. Memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 23, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Waxall Baptist Church with Rev. Ernest Newsom officiating.
Mr. Johnson was born on February 14, 1925 to Tommy Claibourne Johnson and Annie Lenora Denny in Drew, MS Mr. Johnson was married to Mary Elizabeth Vardaman.
He is preceded in death by his parents Tommy Johnson and Annie Denny, his wife; Mary Elizabeth Vardaman, and two grandchildren; Sam T. Johnson and Amos Leon Johnson .
He is survived by his daughters; Annie Deloris Dona (Richard) of Jacksonville, FL, Cathy Canady Larry Newsom) of Duncan, MS, Reginna Dye (Thomas Jerry) of Duncan, MS, grandchildren; Wayne Canady of Cleveland, MS, Cody Canady of Duncan, Nicholas Canady of Gunnison, MS, Elizabeth Diane Johnson- Walker of Chicago, IL, Johnathan Ray Dye of Barksdale Airforce base, LA , Justin Keith Dye of Batesville, MS, Aaron Newsom of Duncan, MS, Zach Newsome of Memphis, TN, eight more grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
