Elmer Strawbridge

Mr. Elmer Jackson "Jack" Strawbridge, Jr., 63, of Boyle, MS, passed away August 8, 2011 at his home. Visitation will be held 7:00-9:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at Ray Funeral Home. Celebration of Life services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at Ray Funeral Home.
Mr. Strawbridge was born December 18, 1947 in Oriley, MS to Elmer Jackson Strawbridge, Sr. and Ida Mae Ray Strawbridge. On July 20, 1972, he married Patsy Lou Dertinger in Cleveland, MS. He worked as an electrician for over 40 years and he loved doing yard work.
He is preceded in death by his parents Elmer Jackson Strawbridge, Sr. and Ida Mae Strawbridge.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Patsy Strawbridge of Boyle, MS; brothers, Eugene Strawbridge of Lone Star, TX and Sonny Strawbridge of Mt. Pleasant, TX; sisters, Rosie Williams of Mt. Pleasant, TX, Shirley Williams of Yazoo City, MS, and Frances Dunn of Yazoo City, MS; and a host of loving nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be J.J. Dunn, T.K. Dunn, Elmer Williams, Thomas Williams, Sam Coleman, William Coleman, and Jimmy Williams.
