Gene Gilbow Obituary
Mr. Gene Edward Gilbow, 80, of Cleveland, passed away Friday, 28, 2012, at North Sunflower Medical Center in Ruleville. Visitation will be from 1:00 -2:00p.m. Saturday, September 29, 2012, at Ray Funeral Home. Celebration of life services will immediately begin at 2:00p.m. Saturday, September 29, 2012, at Ray Funeral Home with Rev. Butch Cummins officiating. Interment will follow at Drew City Cemetery.
Mr. Gilbow was born August 12, 1932, in Hayti, Missouri. He served in the U.S. Navy and later graduated from University of Tennessee School of Pharmacy. Mr. Gilbow was a retired pharmacist and former owner of Gilbow's Drug Store in Drew. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Cleveland.
Mr. Gilbow is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Reed Gilbow and daughter, Gina Michelle Gilbow.
He is survived by a son, Michael Gilbow (Erin) of Indianola, MS; daughter, Beth Mansour (Phil) of Greenville, MS; grandchildren, Liz Gilbow of Hoover, AL, Reed Gilbow of Cleveland, and Carsen and Chambers Mansour of Greenville.
