Inez Jennings Obituary
Mrs. Inez Cliett Jennings, 85, of Cleveland, MS, passed away at Bolivar Medical Center, Friday, November 4, 2011.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 6, 2011 at Ray Funeral Home from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Celebration of life service will be Monday, November 7, 2011 at Ray Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Steve Huber officiating. Burial will follow in North Cleveland Cemetery.
Mrs. Jennings was born October 14, 1926 to Spurgeon Andrew Cliett and Carita Lofton Cliett in Pheba, MS. She married James Noble Jennings on January 25, 1949 in West Point, MS. They were happily married for 62 years. Mrs. Jennings was the proud owner of the LaParie Dress Shoppe for twenty years. She was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church for 41 years.
She is survived by her husband, James Noble Jennings of Cleveland, MS; sons, James Michael Jennings (Sherry) of Bartlett, TN, and Reginald Lynn Jennings (Joyce) of Bartlett, TN; daughter, Jeannie Jennings Mills (Rodney) of Benoit, MS; grandchildren; Stephanie Myers, Kelly Jennings, Nicholas Jennings, Callie Mills Morgan (Brandon), and Meriella Mills; five great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Immanuel Baptist Church in Cleveland, MS.
