J. Boyette Obituary
J. W. Boyette, 92, passed away at his home, Thursday, October 14, 2010. Funeral services will be Sunday, October 17, 2010 at Ray Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Bob Hill officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, October 17, 2010 from 12:00- 2:00 p.m. at Ray Funeral Home. Burial will follow funeral service in Delta Heights Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Boyette was born on July 15, 1918, to Robert Ross Boyette and Eunice Ethel Key in Millington, TN. He married Lois Jenkins on September 1, 1962. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Cleveland, MS. Mr. Boyette loved to fish, hunt, and playing dominoes.
He is survived by his wife, Lois Boyette of Boyle, MS; daughters, Lee Boyette Tedford of Boyle, MS, Joyce Boyette McCown of Boyle, MS; son-in-law, David Tedford of Boyle, MS; daughter-in-law, Becky Preston of Boyle, MS; grandsons, Adam Boyd of Merigold, Parker Noblin of Cleveland, MS, Travis and Nick Preston of Atlanta, GA, and Corey Mitchell of Greenville, MS; granddaughters, Robin McCown of Boyle, MS, and Jessica Tedford of Boyle, MS; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Charles Boyette, Johnny Osborne, Gary Osborne, Jimmy Osborne, Martin Boyette, Wade Boyette, Eckward Gong, and James Haynes.
Honorary pallbearers will be Lamar Boyette, Howard Haney, Eddie Jenkins, Bobby Boyette, Wayne Lessly, and Tony Keith.
