J. Starnes

J. W. "Bebo" Starnes, Jr., 79, of Drew, MS, passed away August 29, 2011 at North Sunflower Medical Center in Ruleville, MS. Visitation will be 2:00-3:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at Drew Methodist Church. Celebration of life services will be at 3:00 p.m. immediately following the visitation with Rev. J.C. Hubbard officiating. Burial will be in Drew City Cemetery.
Mr. Starnes was born in Drew, MS, on November 15, 1931 to J.W. Starnes, Sr. and Louis Carr Starnes. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Josephine Starnes of Drew, MS; Daughters, JoAnna Tribble (Don) of Cascilla, MS and Patricia Starnes Yancey of Jackson, MO; Three grandchildren, Donna Standridge, Nathan Yancey and Anna Yancey; one great-grandchild, Kyleigh Standridge; sister, Margaret Starnes McKnight of Birmingham, Al; and brother, Kenneth B. Starnes of Jena, LA.
