J.D. Holcomb

Mr. J.D. Holcomb, 82, of Coila passed away September 28, 2011 at The Veterans Nursing Home in Kosciusko, MS. Celebration of Life Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 1, 2011 at Ray Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be at Linn Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Holcomb was born December 2, 1928 in Hardy, Arkansas. He married Pauline Lett in Cleveland, MS and served our country in the army during the Korean war. He loved fishing, hunting and loved his family dearly.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline Lett Holcomb of Coila, MS; sons, Ronald Holcomb of Chicago, IL and David Holcomb (Tammy) of Coila, MS; grandchildren, Josh Holcomb, Casey Holcomb, Kady Holcomb, Dylan Holcomb, Jackie Holcomb and Hannah Linn-Holcomb; great-grandchildren, Hunter Holcomb, Benjamin Holcomb, and Kaleb Holcomb; brothers, Lloyd Holcomb and L.C. Holcomb both of Greenville, MS.
Pallbearers will be Josh Holcomb, Dylan Holcomb, Keith Holcomb, Danny Allbritton, Les Dixon, William Sheedy and Todd Garner.
