Jack Tidwell

Jack Reed Tidwell Sr., 64, passed away Saturday, September 11, 2010 at Bolivar Medical Center. Funeral services will be at Ray Funeral Home, Tuesday September 14, 2010 at 1 p.m. with Rev. John Thomas officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday, September 13, 2010 at the funeral home. Burial will follow the funeral in Beulah Cemetery.
Mr. Tidwell was born October 27, 1945 to Andrew Fuller Tidwell and Jimmy Reed Tidwell in Cleveland. He married Brenda Sue Milum on November 22, 2000 in Cleveland. He was employed at Scott Electric, by Mr. Bill Scott for over forty years. He loved yardwork, his job, cooking, fishing, golf, Mississippi State football and Basketball.
He is survived by his wife Brenda Milum Tidwell of Cleveland; son Jack Reed Tidwell Jr. of Cleveland, daughter Melissa Lynn Spencer of Enterprise, AL, stepson, Jeremy Neil Peacock of Cleveland, and three grandchildren, Haley Spencer, Lawson Spencer and Hunter Reed Tidwell.
Pallbearers will be Stanley Thames, Wayne Hunter, Donny Whitten, Billy Morrison, Jerry Kitchings, James Strait and Bobby Ray. Honorary pallbearers are David Work, Bill Scott, Sonny King and Randall Gurlen.
