James Jones Obituary
James Lester "Jimmy" Jones Jr., 65, of Tutwiler, formerly of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2012, in New Albany, MS. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 11a.m. Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Ray Funeral Home with the services immediately following the visitation. Interment will be in the New Cleveland Cemetery.
Mr. Jones was born September 24, 1947, to James Lester Jones and Ruby Brown. He married Eva Spinosa July 1, 1969, at the First Baptist Church in Tutwiler where they were members. He had a passion for hunting and fishing. His enthusiasm through life was expressed through his passion.
He is preceded in death by his father, James Lester Jones; sister, Sue Brooks; and wife Eva Spinosa Jones.
Mr. Jones is survived by his mother, Ruby Brown Jones of Cleveland, MS; nieces, Tanya Hopper (Scott) of Batesville, MS, and Heather Brooks of Southaven, MS; and great nieces and nephews, Walt, Emily, Erin, and Daniel Hopper all of Batesville, MS.
The Family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at the Sunshine Inn for the great care and compassion that was given to Mr. Jones throughout his stay.
