Jerry Dewayne Salley, Sr., 55, of Cleveland, MS passed away Saturday, November 19, 2011 in Boyle, MS. Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 20, 2011 at Lehrton Cemetery with Rev. Percy Beech officiating.
Jerry was born in Cleveland August 26, 1956 to Clarence Earn Salley and Willie Maye Gilbert Salley. He married Ginger Shaffer on October 17, 1977. He worked for 40 plus years as a self-employed painter.
He is survived by his wife, Ginger Salley of Cleveland, MS; son, Jerry Dewayne Salley, Jr. (Paige) of Cleveland, MS; daughters, Samantha Salley of Hickory Flats, MS and Angela Salley of Cleveland; 8 Grandchildren; brother, Joe Thomas Salley (Debbie) of Edinburg, MS and Clarence Earn Salley, Jr. (Shirley) of Cleveland; sisters, Ann Miller of Chatenooga, TN, Patricia Ann Johnson of Knoxville, TN and Peggy Salley White of Cleveland, MS.
