Jesse Weed Obituary
Jesse Lusk Weed, 83, passed away on Monday, May 3, 2010. Funeral services will be on Thursday, May 6, 2010 at 2:00p.m. with Bro. Higdon Herrington officiating, at Ruleville Baptist Church in Ruleville, MS. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 6, 2010 at the church. Burial will follow funeral at Lehrton Cemetery.
Mr. Weed was born on October 17, 1926, to Jesse Clifton Weed and Alma Maybelle Mahon in Minter City, MS. Mr. Weed served in the Navy during WWII and later married Lora Bell Middleton on August 13, 1950, at Cane Lake, in Leflore County, MS.
He is preceded in death by his parents Jesse Clifton Weed and Alma Maybelle Mahon
He is survived by his wife; Lora M Weed of Indianola, MS, daughter; Debra W. Johnson of Indianola, MS; sons; Richard Weed of Starkville, MS, Clifton H. Weed of Olympia, Washington, brothers; Charles Wayne Weed of Ruleville, MS, and Alfred Weed of Kingston, GA, and 6 grandchildren, and 6 great- grandchildren.
