Lam Thi Bich Nguyen

Lam NGUYEN, age 28, of Madison, Mississippi, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2026, after a courageous two-month battle with cancer. Surrounded by the love of her family, she faced her illness with remarkable strength, faith, and determination until her body could fight no more.

Born in Vietnam, raised and built her life in Mississippi, Lam graduated from Cleveland High School in May 2016. She continued her education from 2016 to 2017 and then attended the University of Mississippi from 2017 to 2023, where she pursued studies in pharmacy. She later moved to Madison, Mississippi, for work, where she spent her final days.

A feisty and radiant spirit, Lam brought light and joy to everyone who knew her. Her beautiful eyes and bright smile could illuminate any room. Throughout her journey, her courage inspired countless people. Despite the difficulties of treatment and hospital stays, she remained full of love, laughter, sass, and an indomitable fighting spirit. She cherished time with her family, enjoyed playing games on her phone and tablet with friends, loved shopping with her mother, and took delight in making new friends. As a child, soccer was her favorite pastime.

Lam possessed a heart far larger than most. Even while battling cancer, she consistently placed her parents and loved ones before herself. She found great joy in bringing happiness to those around her—especially through thoughtful gifts of toys and clothes for her parents and all her nieces and nephews.

She is survived by her loving parents Dung and Buoi Nguyen, her siblings Anh(Andy), Jimmy(Ngon),Binh (Hien), Yen (Tai), and Jessica (Jackson), as well as her beloved nieces and nephews: Darren, Darrick, Destiny, Brody, Brianna, Daisy, Theo, Austin, Rachel, and Irene Adler.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 22, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Ray Funeral Home in Mississippi. Following the visitation, her body will be transferred to her homeland in Hue, Vietnam, for burial services.
