Larry Martin Obituary
Lawrence Corwin Martin, 82, passed away at his home in Shaw, MS. Memorial service will be Thursday, December 2, 2010 at 2:00 at Ray Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday from 1:00- 2:00 p.m. at Ray Funeral Home.
Mr. Martin was born November 21, 1928 in Missouri to L.C. Martin and Edith Faust. He married Johnnie Lou Avritt February 14, 1958. Mr. Martin was a lifetime member of the Methodist Church and Lions Club since 1951. He attended SEMO State University and Milwaukee School of Engineering. He was a graduate of the University of Missouri in 1950and US Navy Electronics School in 1953. He was a Korean Navy Vet, a Meth Lay Leader, and a free lance writer.
Mr. Martin is preceded in death by his parents, L.C. Martin and Edith Faust.
He is survived by his wife, Johnnie Lou Avritt; sons, Paul Lawrence Martin (Jan) of Canton, MS, Mark Martin (Holly) of Salem, AR; grandchildren, John Martin, Reid Martin, Blake Martin, Sonni Faye Martin, and Kade Martin.
