Margie Bowen Obituary

Mrs. Margie La Mastus Bowen, of Drew, MS, passed away March 2, 2011 at UMC in Jackson, MS. Celebration of life service will be March 4, 2011 at Ray Funeral Home in Cleveland at 3:00 p.m. with Tommy Mahan officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2011 at Ray Funeral Home. Burial will follow the celebration of life service in Drew Cemetery.
Mrs. Bowen was born August 22, 1959 to Marcus (Buddy) Edward LaMastus and Leona Addie Hetfield. She loved to spend time with family and friends, she also loved reading and animals, and was a supporter of The Best Friends Animal Society.
She is survived by her son, Marcus Edward Bowen of Cleveland, MS; mother, Leona LaMastus of Drew, MS; sisters, Peggy LaMastus Ferguson (Pete) of Poplarville, MS, June LaMastus Love (Mark) of Madison, MS; nephew, Luke Ferguson of Poplarville, MS; niece, Jill Ferguson Weinacker (Gray) of Mobile, AL; stepsons, Robert Bowen of Grenada, MS and Adam Bowen of Greenwood, MS.
Pallbearers will be Marcus Bowen, Robert Bowen, Adam Bowen, Pete Ferguson, Luke Ferguson, and Mark Love.
Honorary pallbearer will be Gray Weinacker.
