Mary Alice Beard Fisher, 67, passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at Greenwood- Leflore Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 16, 2010 at Ray Funeral Home in Cleveland. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, April 15, 2010 at Ray Funeral Home. The Burial will follow funeral at Linn Methodist Cemetery in Linn, MS.
Mrs. Fisher was born in Ruleville, MS on May 30, 1942, to William E. Beard and Geneva Kittrell Beard. She married Doug Fisher on October 9, 1963 in Cleveland, MS.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William Beard and Geneva Beard; son, Todd Wilson
Mrs. Fisher is survived by her husband, Doug Fisher; daughters, Renee Broussard and Angie Contreras; son, Ricky Wilson; sister Jennie Lee Blount; grandchildren Tiffany Blaine, Misty Wilson, Jonathan Broussard, Erika Cheng, Brooke Contreras, Austin Jenkins; great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Blaine, Miley Broussard, Milan Parham, Ryder Parham, Ledger Parham; and nieces and nephews.
