Norma Flemmons Obituary
Norma Jean Flemmons, 67, passed away June 13, 2010 at the University Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at Drew Baptist Church at 3:00 p.m.. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at Drew Baptist Church at 1:00 p.m. until time of service. Burial will follow funeral service in Lehrton Cemetery.
Mrs. Flemmons was born on November 25, 1943 to Willie Biggers and Benny Bloodworth in Cooke County, Illinois. She married Arvin Flemmons on April 28, 1964. Mrs. Flemmons worked as an Accounting Clerk for Mississippi Department of Corrections for 20 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents Willie Biggers and Benny Bloodworth.
She is survived by her husband, Arvin Flemmons; sons, Keith (Lynda) Flemmons, and Brian (Kathryn) Flemmons; granddaughter, Leigh Mabry Flemmons; sisters, Faye Foor, Martha Ann Clark, and Beverly Stroud; brothers, Billy Biggers, Wayne Biggers, and Terry Biggers.
