Oren Woodward

Mr. Oren Bruce Woodward, 80, of Cleveland, MS, passed away Tuesday. September 14, 2010. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 17, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church under the direction of Ray Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6:00- 8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 16, 2010 at Ray Funeral Home. The Burial will follow the funeral service in North Cleveland Cemetery.
Mr. Woodward was born July 17, 1930 in Philadelphia, MS to Walter Carson Woodward and Ruby Rea. He married Jean Beach on June 21, 1957.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Jean Beach Woodward; and son, Jimmy Woodward.
Mr. Woodward is survived by his two sons, Glen Woodward (Pam) of Cleveland, MS, and Duff Woodward (Carla) of Cleveland, MS; daughter, Vera Lynn Word (John) of Wichita Falls, TX; daughter-in-law, Rhonda Woodward of Cleveland, MS; grandchildren, Shannon Woodward, Josh Goss (Jeannie), Nathan Woodward (Sherri), Emily Woodward, Tonya Word, Jonathan Word, and Marti Word.
Pallbearers will be Nathan Woodward, Josh Goss, Ed Beach, Donald Beach, Jose Lopez, Charlie Cole, and L.B. Campbell.
