Pauline Allen Obituary
Mrs. Pauline Ferri Allen passed away Thursday, May 6, 2010, at Bolivar Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church with Father Sean Atkinson leading the ceremony. Burial will immediately follow at Delta Heights Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00- 8:00 p.m. at Ray Funeral Home.
Mrs. Allen was born in Boyle on August 19, 1929, to Ben Ferri and Frances Favi Ferri. She was a member of Our Lady of Victories Catholic Church in Cleveland. Mrs. Pauline retired as an assembler at Baxter€™s Health Care Laboratory and was also a Homemaker.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Allen; parents, Ben and Frances Favi Ferri; sister, Sarah Ferri Fonville; and brother, Robert Ferri.
She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Ann Knight (Robert) of Merigold, MS; five sisters, Christine Malatesta (David) of Shelby, MS, Lucile Moore (Charles) of Cleveland, MS, Rosa Lee King (Richard) of Monroe, LA, Mary E. Boggs (Larry) of Dandrige, TN, and Linda Godbold (Pat) of Cleveland, MS; and two brothers, William Ferri (Mary H.) of Marion, AL and Benjamin Ferri ( Judy) of Clarksdale, MS, and two grandsons; Roddy Johns and Colton Johns.
Pallbearers will be Hayse Moore, Raymond Moore, Mark Moore, Darrell Maletesta, Steve Ferri and Alex Ferri.
Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children€™s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
