Rose Coleman Obituary
Mrs. Rose Marie Schaefer Burns Coleman, 82, of Greenville, MS, passed away at Delta Regional Medical Center, Monday, June 6, 2011. There will be a graveside service at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 9, 2011 with Rev. Clarence Edwards officiating in New Cleveland Cemetery.
Mrs. Coleman was born July 2, 1928 in Leland, MS to Charlie Edward Schaefer and Mary Amelia Marquis. She was married to Gene Leonard Coleman. Mrs. Coleman worked at Washington School and the YMCA and loved working with children. Every child that she worked with, she treated as if they were her own.
She is survived by her husband, Gene Leonard Coleman of Greenville, MS; daughters, Betty Nell Mancini of Greenville, MS, Rosemary Reves of Glen Allen, MS, and Carolyn Jacks of Glen Allen, MS; step-children, Carolyn Sue Pinnix, Barbara Coleman, Gladys Quinn, Cathy Allegrzia, Jimmy Coleman; eight grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
