Ruby Wells Obituary
Mrs. Ruby Gearldene Wells, 91, of Holly Springs, MS, passed away, November 29, 2011 in Holly Springs, MS. Visitation will be Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Ray Funeral Home from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Celebration of life service will be Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Ray Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. Charles Boyd officiating. Burial will follow services in Delta Heights Cemetery.
Mrs. Wells was born in Lexington, MS to George Walter Sherron, Sr. and Bessie Mae Woods on July 16, 1920. She was married to George Wallace Wells. Along with Mrs. Wells' very sharp mind, she loved watching television and reading.
She is preceded in death by her husband, George Wallace Wells and all of her siblings.
She is survived by a host of nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; great-great-nieces and nephews; and caregiver Nancy Boyd.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Canady, Billy Smith, Charles Boyd, Jr., Marcus Wayne Sherron, Kenneth Sherron, and Wallace Boyd.
Memorials may be made to the Lung Association. The family would like to thank Trinity Mission Nursing Home in Holly Springs for their care over the last four years.
