Ruth Davis Obituary
Ruth "Virginia" Davis, 86, of Boyle, MS, passed away Monday, June 4, 2012. Visitation will be June 5, 2012 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Ray Funeral Home. Services will be Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Ray Funeral Home; interment will follow at North Cleveland Cemetery.
Mrs. Virginia was born to Carl Hester Mullins and Gertrude Gordon Green Mullins, on October 9, 1925 in Blytheville Arkansas. She married Clyde Wayne Davis on June 4, 1955, in Newkirk, Oklahoma. She retired from practical nursing, and then enjoyed taking care of her loving family. She loved to decorate and spend time with her family. Mrs. Virginia was a member of First Baptist Church of Boyle, MS.
Mrs. Virginia is survived by her husband Clyde Davis; grandchildren Kenna McClaflin White (Phillip), of El Dorado, AR. and Bryson S. McClaflin Hernando MS; great- grandchildren Tyler B. White of El Dorado and Joshua A. White of EL Dorado AR;brother, Leroy Ladon "Donnie" Mullins (Pauline) of Mobile AL.; daughter in law Blanche McClaflin of Boyle, MS.; sister in law, Thelma Mullins of Boyle, MS., Mildred Skellion of Cleveland, MS.; sister Margarette Booker Mullins Hopper of Douglasville, GA. and a host of Nieces and Nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Carl Hester Mullins and Gertrude Gordon Mullins; Children Kenneth L. McClaflin, and Brenda Jo McClaflin Hoop (Lee); siblings, Mabel Elizabeth Mullins McClaflin (Clarence), James Virgil Mullins, Lucille Mullins Laury (Walter), Calvin Thomas Mullins, Charles Hester Mullins (Opal).
