Shirley Dean Obituary

Shirley Jean Bullock Dean, 72, of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2013, at St. Dominic's Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Ray Funeral Home. Celebration of Life services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at Ray Funeral Home with Matthew Reed Buckley leading the ceremonies. Interment will follow in North Cleveland Cemetery.
Mrs. Dean was born June 17, 1940 in Sweetwater, AL. On June 6, 1956, she married Raymond Lloyd Dean in Cleveland, MS. She retired from the town of Boyle after serving 16 years as the City Clerk. She loved to read, play games and cards, and she enjoyed bowling with her league. More than anything she loved her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren.
She is survived by Her husband of 56 years, Raymond Dean of Canton; Sons, Allen Dean of Cleveland and Raymond Dean of Pascagoula; daughters, Cynthia Laughlin (Brian) of Canton and Tina Buckley (Matthew) of Cleveland; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Lee Earl Bullock of Ruleville; sisters, Janet Morgan of Batesville, Carol Vance of Indianola, and Doris Rozier of Brevard, NC; and a host of nieces and nephews.
