Steve Ellison Obituary
Mr. Steve Anthony Ellison,60, passed away, Saturday, October 23, 2010 at his home. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 26, 2010 from 1:00- 2:00 p.m. at Ray Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Ray Funeral Home. Burial will follow the funeral in Sumner Cemetery.
Mr. Ellison was born April 12, 1950 in Tallahatchi County to Hubert Lee Ellison and Vivian Mae Cole. He loved to work in his garden, and was a dedicated Mississippi State fan. Mr. Ellison won the distributor of the year with Little Debbie as number one in his district.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Hubert Lee Ellison and Vivian Mae Ellison, sister, Mae Evelyn Ellison; and brothers, Ira Hubert Ellison and Charles Lee Ellison.
Mr. Ellison is survived by his son, Steve Anthony Ellison II of Cleveland, MS; daughter, Stefanie Leigh Pepper (John) of Flowood, MS; grandchildren, Kylan Ellison of Cleveland, MS; companion, Rose Marie Humphrey of Meridian, MS; brother, Howard Ellison of Kosciusko, MS; sister, Catherine Pape of Sarasota, FL; and several nieces and nephews.
