Susan Wade Obituary

Mrs. Susan Stubbs Wade, 63, passed away at her home in Cleveland, MS, Friday, January 27, 2012. Visitation will be held Monday, January 30, 2012 at First Baptist Church of Cleveland from 10am to 12pm. Celebration of life services will be held at 12pm Monday, January 30, 2012 at First Baptist Church of Cleveland with Dr. Park Neff officiating. Interment will immediately follow in North Cleveland Cemetery.
Mrs. Wade was born in Greenwood, MS, October 28, 1948 to William Gordon Stubbs and Ann Louise Truitt Stubbs. She married William Emmett Wade on May 11, 1968 in Greenwood. She worked as an office manager and realtor for Mosco Land and Realty for 13 years, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cleveland, as well as a member of the Mississippi Board of Realtors. Family and her dearest friends were the joy of her life. Nothing brought her more happiness than cooking a big meal for a group of people gathered around her table.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Louise Truitt Stubbs; father, William Gordon Stubbs; and niece, Gina Mosco Michael.
Mrs. Wade is survived by her husband, William Emmett Wade of Cleveland, MS; son, Bradford Davis Wade (Tammy) of Ash, NC; daughter, Tonya Wade Rhodes (Slade) of Columbia, SC; sister, Jane Mosco (Henry) of Cleveland, MS; brother, Hayden Stubbs (Martha) of Greenwood, MS; grandchildren, Grey Rhodes and Rilee Rhodes of Columbia, SC; Kayla Wade and Morgan Wade of Ash, NC; and Courtney Little of Philadelphia, PA; nephews, Henry G. Mosco (Kerri), James A. Mosco, Truitt Stubbs, Michael Stubbs, and Greg Stubbs; and a niece Kimberly M. Beuhring (Nathan).
Pallbearers will be Henry G. Mosco, James Mosco, Nathan Beuhring , Ernie Stephenson, Byron Jones, Johnny Aguzzi, Anthony Michael, and Chance Robinson.
Honorary pallbearers are Truitt Stubbs, Michael Stubbs, Greg Stubbs.
