Terry Rocconi Obituary

“Terry” Terrence Anthony Rocconi, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2026, at the age of 74. A Visitation will be held in honor of Terry on Wednesday, June 17th, at Our Lady of Victories, at 9:30 am-11 am, followed immediately by a Mass at 11. The Internment service will be held immediately following Mass at Delta Heights Memorial Gardens.
He was born on November 16, 1951, in Cleveland, Mississippi, to Julius Paul Rocconi Sr. and Rose Elizabeth Rocconi. Terry devoted his life to his family, farming, and his faith.
In his early years, Terry married Sandra Ratliff, on March 2, 1975, in Leland, MS, with whom he built a loving family and instilled unwavering values of hard work, love for God, and the importance of one’s marriage. He took care of her, and later she was his nurse and took care of him. Terry took pride in being actively involved in the lives of his children and their friends, guiding them with love and wisdom. Above all, Terry was proud of his grandchildren and enjoyed being a part of their lives.
A passionate farmer and an enthusiastic outdoorsman, Terry found joy in every season. Whether it was spending summers on the lake, engaging in tractor pulls, enjoying mud racing, or indulging in his passion for anything John Deere and Ford, Terry embodied the spirit of adventure and a deep connection with the land. His faith was also an integral part of his life, and he served as a shining example of walking in faith, trusting the Lord in all things.
He is predeceased by his parents, Julius and Rose Rocconi, and his brothers, Julius Rocconi Jr., Donald Rocconi, Patrick Rocconi, and brother-in-law, Troy Odom.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Sandra Rocconi; his children, Matt (Carrie) Rocconi, Valerie (Radford) Thomas, and Melanie (Chris) Reed; his grandchildren, Cole (Ashley) Thomas, Cruse Thomas, Annisten Thomas, Maggie Rocconi, Luke Rocconi, Lily Rocconi, Chapman Reed, and Collin Reed; his great-grandchild, Anne Garland Thomas; his siblings, Mary Ann Odom, Rose (David) Bradberry, Theresa (Allen) Morgan, and Michael (Sandi) Rocconi; as well as a host of nieces and nephews who will forever cherish his memory.
Terry Rocconi will be greatly missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
